Women still find Diamonds to be the most fascinating, beautiful, brilliant gemstones out of all the many options they have for any type of setting. With their luster and durability and value a nice diamond still makes for a solid investment. World Wide demand has been softer as of late based on supply of newly mined diamonds. The other reason has to do with what we would consider conflict diamonds but to really trace those to a specific region or mine would be very challenging. We see many different types, shapes and sizes here at the shop, and have many Diamond Engagement rings for sale at any given time. We value diamonds based on the four C's which is carat, color, clarity and cut. These criteria can make the difference in relation to what value we would purchase or Pawn on any specific type of diamond. The most coveted of course is the Round brilliant cut and can bring a substantial offer based on the criteria mentioned above. What we look for is at least a .40 pointer or larger when it comes to a solitaire and at minimum eye clean. Also the other cuts which are in demand is princess cut and pear shape which would be lower in value but we will still purchase and Pawn on this style.
